There are several categories of family visas available, based on your specific relationship with the individual:

1. Partner or Spouse Visa – Intended for those who are married to or in a civil partnership with a UK citizen or a person settled in the UK.

2. Fiancé(e) or Proposed Civil Partner Visa – Designed for individuals planning to marry or enter into a civil partnership in the UK.

3. Parent Visa – For parents wishing to join a child who holds British citizenship or has settled status in the UK.

4. Child Visa – For children intending to join a parent living in the UK.

5. Adult Dependent Relative Visa– For individuals who require long-term care from a relative in the UK.

Currently, the minimum income requirement to sponsor a partner is £29,000 per year.
